Overview

Using the Drafts Spreadsheet option, you can create a batch of regular assets at once by uploading a spreadsheet. This is great for creating a collection with many assets in one go. Read on to learn more 🚀

<aside> ⏩ TL;DR

1. On the homepage, click Assets, and select the collection that will hold the asset(s)
2. Select Drafts Spreadsheet
3. Download the template and upload the completed spreadsheet
4. Upload any files mentioned within the spreadsheet
5. Click Create Drafts

Steps

1. On the homepage, click Assets, and select the collection that will hold the asset(s).

1. Select Drafts Spreadsheet.

1. Download the template and save your completed file.

<aside> 🎶 Note Within the template, you will see a Royalties column (column K). Inputing a value of 1 will translate to a 1% royalty. So, if you would like to set a 10% royalty, you would input a value of 10 .

1. Upload your completed spreadsheet to the Upload Excel File target.

<aside> 🐿️ Quick Tip If you are uploading media files, be sure to double check that the media file names in your spreadsheet match exactly to the names of each file you are uploading. If there are typos, the upload will fail.

1. Upload your media files that you mentioned within your uploaded spreadsheet.

   

2. Click Create Drafts to proceed.

Once you have successfully created your drafts, you should see a success message similar to this one.

Either Close this popup to navigate elsewhere, or View Drafts to continue working on your collection.
